Statement from the artist:
“As an artist, I am interested in the way the medium of black and white photography transforms a moment into dramatic and otherworldly. I allow myself to be arrested, stopped in my tracks by a landscape, a scene, or a persons momentary magic. It is revealed as I encounter light through shapes and patterns given form through brightness and shadow. 
 
I am the happy magician with a photographic wand, a witness to transformation and delight. May you enjoy these moments stilled, distilled, and the magic revealed.”
